It’s been a few days since our Open House/Fashion Show, and I am so delighted by the responses we’ve been getting!  Everyone who made it was able to take part in an event that included fun decor, stunning fashion, delicious food & drinks, and charitable donations.  For those of you who weren’t able to make it, don’t fret, we’ll have another one in the fall!  In the meantime, here’s a little recap, and I assure you, pictures will be coming soon…

We had thirteen vendors displaying their work, many of which also offered special discounts to clients who chose to book that day or within a certain time frame. I would personally recommend each of our vendors, so knowing they were booking special packages just for coming to the fundraiser, is truly a treat for anyone who needed to find a vendor for their event.

Each of our vendors also contributed a raffle prize donation, which took place during intermissions of the Fashion Show.  Though 13 vendors were showcased, there were a couple more who also contributed through donations to the event and/or to the raffle.  Giving away sixteen different raffle prizes, this turned out to be quite a winning day for some of our guests, who either donated large amounts of food in exchange for raffle tickets or purchased raffle tickets.

After only 3 hours, we were able to raise almost 400 pounds of food for the Food Bank of Northern Nevada, in addition to cash donations!  It was such an honor to have such a fun event lead to such great local contributions.

News Channel 2 also showed up to film this special day, which was truly the icing on the cake!  If you missed it, feel free to check out the story here – News Channel 2 Clip.

I am eagerly anticipating seeing the photos taken by Matt & Jentry Photography, but overall, am mostly just grateful to everyone who took part in making this event spectacular and charitable.

I would like to thank everyone who was involved! I am grateful for each of your raffle contributions, but also for the many ways you helped make this a success.
